It seems like time flies in India. I had lunch with 2 new exPat's on Tuesday. Marsha and Eva. They seem like they will become great friends. They said that they would join us at a party at our bungalow on Saturday night.
We had dinner with Reasa and Robert last night. Robert and Bob got into a heavy business conversation so Reasa and I caught a rickShaw and went to the hospital to check on Vernelle. Vernelle is in alot better condition since just Monday when I arrived. She is so funny, she had a cyst on her ovary and she named it "Terry". She should be getting out of the hospital today or tomorrow.
My favorite thing to do at home is sit on the balcony and swing. We have lots of monkeys in the yard and I love to watch them play and jump thru the trees. This is a great time of year to be here, it gets pretty warm during the day, but you don't need an air conditioner at all, just open the 2-double patio doors in the living room and the patio doors in the bedroom and let the breeze blow thru the bungalow. The nights are so cool that you need to cover up.
There are alot of new stuff since I was here 8 months ago. Ahmedabad is growing really fast. Delmonte canned food products have just arrived, that company is 50 years old and just making it to India.
We had lunch with Alex, Tupperware designer. I told him to get me the old pie carrier back, and he asked me to describe it. If it does make a come back everybody better thank me! Also, Pranav is the chef at "Tomatoes" and he has been asked to represent "Salad Master" cookware. How long has that been around? He is really excited. Pranav will get a cut in the distributor ship here in India. Go figure! What else could we bring these people to make their life easier? Not 1 baby stroller do you see in this country. HUM? Just the little umbrella strollers that fold up would be a BIG HIT!

What's
If one will focus on the "What now?" instead of dwelling on the "What if?", then the "What next?" becomes clearer and easier to obtain.

Qatar Business Class
The flight to Ahmedabad India from NYC is a 17 hours flight to Doha then 2 1/2 hours to Ahmedabad. We booked business class on Qatar, we had those first 2 seats in the middle in the picture, 1C and 1D. OH MY GOSH! We were treated like royalty. It's a real shame that we sleep most of the way, we stretched out in the reclining seats and sleep like babies. The food was awesome and then stewardess were actually REALLY very attractive, unlike most of the airlines in the US. Ours was Swedish.
Then when we left Doha we had a separate bus that took us out to the plane and we had a separate entrance to the plane. It's going to be hard to go back to a regular plane.

Learning . . .
If history repeats itself, and the unexpected always happens, how incapable must Man be of learning from experience.

Delay in Detroit
NYC was awesome. Everything went so smoothly. The conference was a big success. We saw Broadway play "Chicago", ate in Chinatown, shopped at Macy's, coffee at Times Square, Trump Tower walked miles and just totally enjoyed the city.
Left NYC on time, but got to Detroit and NO plane. So we are waiting on a plane to arrive. I will be late getting into OKC, but my car is there so I don't have to worry about calling and making arrangements to pick me up.
It will be a week then we leave for Nevis on the 16th for a deep sea fishing trip. Actually the guys and fishing, I am sitting on the beach. We fly from Miami to St. Kitts then take a boat over to Nevis island. I am VERY excited about this trip.

Coach
Our coach arrived at 3 pm on Sunday. NICE RIDE
We got the SEO 1 tag on the front.
I am sure glad that we hired a driver. Can't see me driving it around NYC!
Some people show up and some people "ARRIVE!"
Bob has been in the SEO business since 1996. He has put in his 10,000 hours and he knows the SEO business like no other. So to show up in a bus like this in NYC, he will be "ARRIVING".
I will post more pictures tomorrow.

NYC
Arrived at laguardia airport at about 4pm. Took the cab ride to hotel. Had dinner at the hotel and then walked to Times Square. It was really busy. I saw BatMan, Elmo and tons of people. LIGHTS! NY cheesecake. What a big city. We've got a big day tomorrow, so we headed back to hotel.
I LOVE NYC. Hope that we get to see Allyson while we are here.

Your babies are forever . . . . .
Babies require attention and care and almost all of your time. They don't disappear. They grow up right in front of your eyes. But you won't see it happening. You'll wonder how the years went by so fast.
Fun for the entire family!
Whoever said "Fun for the entire family" obviously doesn't know my family.
